Innovative science requires innovative scientists which, for many companies, is the expertise within their own doors. But when it comes time to move into animal studies, the costs and complexities of an in-house vivarium can be prohibitive. Now, instead of outsourcing these studies to a contract research organization (CRO), you can leverage your in-house expertise and run the study yourself in Mispro’s rodent vivarium.
Offering more than just space in a vivarium, Mispro is a full-service Contract Vivarium where you can conduct your own studies in private or shared procedure rooms while we handle all the rest—housing, veterinary care, animal husbandry, technical services, and regulatory compliance oversight. An affordable and robust alternative to outsourcing animal studies to a CRO, Mispro removes the complexities from running a vivarium and managing animal care and compliance so you can keep your expertise focused on your innovative work.

Mispro offers access to state-of-the-art vivarium research space for companies who want to control their own rodent studies rather than outsource this critical phase of their in vivo program. But in our research environments you also have access to so much more. Along with private and shared options for animal housing and procedure rooms, and access to special equipment and technology to support your studies, we also offer inspiring and functional spaces where your team can collaborate and innovate, or just relax and recharge.
Mispro goes beyond vivarium rental space—our managed research environments and vivarium services ensure that your focus stays on your science while we take care of everything else, including husbandry, veterinary services, and compliance and regulatory oversight. In addition to providing best-in-class laboratory animal services, our friendly and accommodating staff is available to help with any additional services or equipment your organization needs to support your studies.
To ensure safety and compliance at all times, Mispro is an AAALAC-accredited organization and requires that every study conducted in our facilities and with our services is approved by our in-house Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). We strongly advocate for the 3R’s—replacement, reduction, refinement—and we strictly follow regulatory guidelines for the ethical and humane treatment of research animals.
We offer the following vivarium services in support of in vivo rodent studies:
